Top 7 Reasons Why People Fail to Achieve Their Goals

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Everyone wants to succeed, achieve their goals but what most people end up failing in it. Becoming successful in life is not a game of days or month. You have to work smart. That’s Why people fail to achieve their goals. People share their goals with others whom they want to achieve as Jai Khai Kwan said-

It’s Easy To Say, but its Hard To Prove

Jai Khai Kwan

Below are some most common reasons why people fail to achieve their goals. Study these reasons and apply the success principles behind each.

1. Their Goals are Vague

The main reason people fail to reach their goals is that they are not being specific enough. People give a random answer to you when you ask them about their goals. They just want o to be rich or stay happy.

No wonder most people fail to reach their goals. The term ‘happy’ is not clearly defined. How can you be happy and what makes you happy? Thus, there is no way you can tell if you have achieved it.

Getting $10,000 a month and $1,000,000 a month totally different. You can’t do both with the same strategy. Therefore, if your goals are not specific, you cannot create a specific action plan to reach them. That’s why people fail to achieve their goals.

Be as clear and as specific with what you want.

2. Less Motivating Goals

https://seizeyourcareer.com

Excited about achieving your goals? if yes, Then this excitement you have because your goals are motivating yourself. If your goals are not exciting you, you won’t be able to work on it and you will also not be able to take action on it.

You should be dedicated to your goals in order to achieve them. You must have some strong and emotional reasons why you want to achieve them. Your reasons and dedication to achieve your goals will force you towards your target.

3. They are Not Committed

Are you ready to achieve your goals? For that, you should be willing to do whatever is required to reach your goals? Or you will just do what is appropriate?

You should put your 100% when it comes to commitment if we are serious about getting what you want.  Put yourself in such a condition where dedication is high and you cannot do a comeback.

When this type of situation will happen then it’s clear that you are going to hit your aim.

When something becomes a ‘must’ you will do whatever it takes to get there.

4. They Don’t Know How

Don't know how

Who doesn’t want to achieve their goals, dreams, a good life? But if you ask from the people that how you going to achieve them they don’t have an answer. Because they don’t have any plan or strategy for it.

You got to gym lose or gain weight and your trainer help in achieving your health target. But, suppose you can’t afford a trainer than what you will do? You will ask people who already did it.

you can interrogate other people who have done it before.

As Anthony Robbins said, “Success leaves clues.”

You can take help from Google, Books, and people who have done it.

5. They are Afraid to fail

Don't afraid to fail

Whenever you think that I am going to fail or failed, just read these lines said by Samuel Beckett

“Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. fail better.”

Do you ever fail to hit your goals because you are afraid to fail? failure is unpreventable in life. So, stop asking “what will happen if I fail,” try to learn from your mistakes or failure.

Thomas Edison was the person who failed 10,000 times. yes, you read it right 10,000 times, but he never looked at this as failures he learned something. He said that I found 10,000 ways that don’t work.

This is called real dedication or motivation toward your goals. If you never ever quit you will never ever gonna fail.

6. They Surround Themselves with Mediocre People

Your behaviour, work ethics, thinking depends on Society in which you live. If it is a good society than its surely going to have a positive impact on your life.

If you are with people who don’t have any goal or dreams in life, you will eventually throw away your dreams and your goals.

If you want to improve your skills, train with people who are more better than you.

7. They Get Distracted

Another common reason among people who fail to achieve their goals. Their interest goes into another dept. or works and they forgot about their goal that they set recently.

An example of my friend who completed his engineering and started working as a Data Analyst. He works for a while and then one of his friends told him that the marketing dept. is too good for you and without summarizing he resigned from that post.

In last he ended up resigning from that post too and started searching for another job. This all happened because he didn’t stay on his own decision. People like him get distracted easily and switch from one thing to another.

Never let it happen to you. Be strong and consciously review your goals.

Conclusion

To be successful or getting your desired goals in life these are some of the best points to remember. I am sure if you follow these aspects, it would be easy to get what you want in your life.
